Today I decided to pull out the steering rack to gut it, converting it to a "manual" styled rack. Pretty much you open up the rack body, gut out all the shins, springs and valves etc from inside, slap heavy duty grease in and she goes back together. Then close off the 3 opened holes for the hard lines which would usually feed oil in. Also cut off this piston ring thingo. I'll spam some photos below of the process.
